Violins for professionals
These violins are all hand crafted by highly trained individual luthiers. I use only the highest quality material that matches my standards of exquisite workmanship. Also I varnish the classical way.
From there it is a five step process.
- Step I is priming.
- Step II is sealing.
- Step III is Jesso which is the ground coat.
- Step IIII is the paint, where varnish is mixed with concentrated pigments in powder.
- Lastly, step V is called varnishing.
All the varnish is ITALIAN BALSAMIC OIL VARNISH which is purchased from International Violin Company, Ltd in Baltimore. Pictures are in varnishing violin folder.
